There shouldn’t be a login button on ShipStation’s home page, which is odd. A new user can use the Create Account button on the ShipStation website, as shown below, to create an account.
Steps to login to your Shipstation account.
- To get to the ShipStation login page, go to https://ss.shipstation.com/.
- Your username and password are what you need to log in. Do not add your account using the email address you used to create it. Instead, use your username on ShipStation.
The majority of users make the mistake of using their email addresses as login details. The platform will sadly lock your account after several failed login attempts.
Getting Started with user management in Shipstation
A normal direct-to-consumer brand might have more than one unit that handles shipping, quality control, refunds, and other tasks. These people may all need to be able to see a certain part of their ShipStation screen.
This scenario is an easy use case for ShipStation because it lets you add multiple users to an account without giving them all the same rights. Ten users can share an account by default on the platform.
How to add a user in your shipstation account
- Please go to your account and sign in.
- As shown below, click “My profile.”
- Click on User Management in the box on the left.
- You can view your account’s current users here. Click on “Add New User.”
- The new user should be given a name, an email address, and a short-term password. For new users, ShipStation will send an email with a proof link as soon as they sign up.
- Click the Permissions tab, as shown below, to add permissions for our newly created user.
- Click “Save” to complete the user addition to your ShipStation account.
Steps to reset password of your Shipstation account
If you ever get locked out of your ShipStation account, these steps will help you change your password.
- Click on https://ss.shipstation.com to go to the ShipStation login page.
- Press Oh no, I forgot my password.
- You will need to enter your user name to log into your ShipStation account. Please ensure you enter your username rather than your email address.
- To change your password, ShipStation will send a link to the email address you used to sign up.
- You can change your password by clicking on this link.
- With your new password and user name, you can now log in.
